If I’m in a rush, can I give someone Narcan without using STIM to confirm if they’re overdosing? Why do we use STIM to confirm an overdose?
For the final STIM step for confirming an overdose, why do I need to check if people are breathing at least one full breath every 6 seconds?
I’ve heard that you’re supposed to do a sternum rub to check if people are responsive, why is that not included as a step for confirming an overdose is happening?
