Can I be arrested for giving someone Narcan?

No. According to Pennsylvania’s Good Samaritan Law, you cannot be arrested for calling 911 (and therefore signaling an SOS on UnityPhilly) to report an opioid overdose or for administering Narcan. PA’s law recommends staying with the person overdosing until first responders arrive, and cooperating with the police if they ask you any questions.
