Never Use Alone Hotline

This is a toll-free national overdose prevention, detection, life-saving crisis response, and medical intervention service for people who use drugs while alone. Never Use Alone’s peer operators are available 24-hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. No stigma. No judgment. Just love!♥️

When you call, you will be asked for your first name (can be a fake name if you prefer, phone number, EXACT location, county you are in, and what substance you’re using. After they’ve received the info, operators then stay on the phone with you while you use your substance. They will ask you to let them know when you’re done, so that they can start watching the clock. They will then continue talking with you for a few minutes (usually about 10 min minimum) to be sure you’re going to be okay. If you stop responding for more than 30 – 45 seconds, they will then contact EMS. 

No Spanish-specific phone number, but they do have a few Spanish-speaking operators that can communicate with Spanish-speakers if needed and if those staff are in the office
